B Burger New member Jan 10, 2011 #1 My transfer case on my 95 wrangler was replaced a few months ago...It has been working fine until this morning? It acts as if though it slips out when i go from forward to reverse or vice versa? Any ideas? Thanks,

SteelHeadz Super Moderator Jan 10, 2011 #2 Check the shift linkage and make sure its adjusted properly so that the shift fork within the t.case is seated properly on its detent.

E efstop22 New member Jan 19, 2011 #4 Ditto.......I understand that there is a plastic...gizmo that wears easily and allows the linkage to slip out of adjustment or even fall out. Couple year ago I had to pull a YJ out of a creek crossing for this reason, no 4x when he need it.
