Please watch this video. It is very important that we don’t let this happen to us. Lets stop it now. I am sending this to all people that I know and sending to everyone that I know. I don’t want to lose my right to own guns, to hunt, to defend myself or others. If you don’t care to own a gun, hunt, or have a gun for the means of defense, please continue this on anyway. What right will they take that you depend on. It starts with one and ends when we have no rights.

Not really sure how to respond......I own guns, not hand guns, don't believe in hand guns - only meant to kill people.........but I feel a whole lot better about my "constitutional rights" now that Bush is gone.

mud, I can respect your opinion. But........I have hand guns, mine are meant to protect my family and myself and others. I also enjoy target shooting. I hope you will look up Mr. Obamas voting record and his stance on ALL guns. He wants to bann all guns (just as England has) He is very public about it.
They take our right to own guns away, what is next?

Good point!! But if you hunt with a pistol, you're one of a few........guess you get REAL close before you pull the trigger. And I'm guessin' it's not rabbit hunting!!! Anyway, that handgun stuff is just me, my opinion. I wish I had a pump shotgun for "personal protection"............wouldn't even need any ammo.....the sound of the "pump" would put anybody on the run, I'm thinking. But like I've stated previously, I feel better about my "constitutional rights" now that Bush is gone.......who knows about Obama.......I'm willin' to wait and see before I start bashing. The media feeds enough of the "fear syndrome" without me helping them. I'm just wondering what happened to the "Home of the Brave"?!?!? What the hell are we all so afraid of???

Oh, I've not forgotten that!! I'm guessing you're young - I'm an old bastid. I remember when we tore down the Berlin Wall....now we're building one on our southern border. I remember when I loved to fly......now I hate it - I'm treated like a threat to "Homeland Security".....hell, I just wanna get where I'm going. I remember when we used to condemn the Gestapo, the KGB, etc. for their "secret prisons"....the "gulags".....and now we have Guantanamo!:shock::shock::shock: Those people (yes, they're PEOPLE!!) have been held down there for 7-8 YEARS!!! without being charged or tried. Yes, they're probably very dangerous..........Well, then, charge them, try them, kill them, or set them free!! What the hell is going on with this country???? Maybe we should all re-read our history books.

First off, thank you for the service to our country. As for my age, I am a 33 year old Deputy Sheriff. I have placed my life in my trainning and my trusted glock. I dont understand what the injustice of those that you have spoken about has to do with the injustice that we are trying to avoid. I think that we will have to respectfully agree to disagree.

It's like Jesus said........as you have done it to the least of these, my bretheren, you've done it unto me.... or words to that effect. Kinda "there, but for the grace of God, go I".......Kinda the foundation of our country......we were seeking to avoid that kinda stuff with ANYBODY!!!! Basic human rights, if you will. Bush and the media have been pushing the FEAR thing for so long, that I think we've all forgotten what this country is all about. Hopefully, that will be changing.......doubtfully, but hopefully.

Anyway, yeah, we can agree to disagree. That, after all, is what this country is all about!!!!....And if you're enforcing the law, I'm glad you've got the Glock.

Hell, as long as I'm ranting, I might as well keep on going. We invaded a sovereign country.....a country that didn't do anything to us.....yeah, Saddaam sucked but there's a WHOLE lotta leaders that suck.....doesnt' matter - that's their business and their people should take 'em out. Anyway, "alledgedly", he had "weapons of mass destruction"....and who should know better than us, the possessors of every "weapon of mass destruction" known to man......the only ones to ever use a weapon of mass destruction on a populace. So, that's why we invaded.....that's why we've still got our youth dying there every day. Our brave, strong, precious young people. It sickens me more and more day by day. For the last eight years I'm sorry to say that I have been ashamed to be an American.

But now......we have elected a minority President!!!! A very intelligent, caring man. Yeah, he's a politician so, of course, he's tellin' us all what we want to hear. But he ran on the platform of "hope"........and that's really all we have. I, for the first time in a long time, am PROUD to be an American!!!!!! Dang, who would've ever thought we'd elect anyone but one of our "good ol' white boys"?????? We'll all have to see how things progress..........is he just another ****ant politician?? or does he mean what he said????? Exciting times ahead!!! Life is GOOD!!!!

I'll throw my two cents in here.

I was here for the shootings at Virginia Tech. I saw the aftermath, I saw the people that ran in fear of their lives and I saw how it affected everyone here. Some people are screaming to get rid of guns, make the laws tighter, etc. Great, as long as it doesn't affect the law abiding citizen I'm fine with it. After that, my view on handguns changed. I just put in for my concealed carry permit. I decided after that, that my life and those around me can be at stake at any time, anywhere. I'm not paranoid about it, but I realize that **** doesn't hit the fan when it's convenient for the police to be there.

I don't want to rely on my telephone to get me help when I need it most. I'll do whatever I can to never have to use my gun, but if it ever comes to the point that I have to choose my life over someone threatening my life, you damn well better believe that I will not hesitate in my decision. Handguns aren't made for killing, they're made to send a bullet out of a barrel. They coincidentally make great firearms for killing people.

Like Bounty said, he hunts with a pistol. I have a loaded shotgun within reach of my bed, but I can't carry a shotgun with me everywhere I go. So you know what my alternative is? My Kimber.

BTW, I don't care what you say about Obama, he will stomp on our gun rights given the chance. Look at his voting record. It's horrendous when it comes to gun rights.
