Two Question In One Post
ok so im in the process of installing these KC Daylighters and i have a few questions i hope you guys could answer.
-wheres a good place to connect the white wire. it is the wire that runs from the supply terminal on the switch. i want to be able to have the daylighters on even when the truck is off and have them turn on and off seperately from the headlights.
-wheres a good place to connect the yellow wire. it is the wire that runs from the 30 terminal on the relay to a "+12 VDC battery". im assuming that i should connect that one to the battery.
-and if i should connect the yellow wire to the battery, it is only two feet long, where should i mount the relay? near the glove box? on the fire wall in the engine bay? i dont think the yellow wire is long enough where i would be able to mount the relay near the steering column if the yellow wire is connected to the battery.
how did you guys take care of these issues when you installed your KC daylighters or other auxillery lights. thanks.
if you guys could point me in the direction of a good write up with photos thatd be awsome.
