Ok, so far the jeep has spent most of its time on road, i cant wait to take it off but i think i need a few improvements first. (i ripped the suspension out of a pathfinder offroading on the factory suspenion so im a little wary) So this is what im thinking, maybe any1 could tell me maybe some better idea for improvement or exactly what order to do all this in?

(possible upgrades)
3" suspension lift, maybe rancho? (whats that cost anyway? ;) )
Steering stabalizer (any that someone could recomend?)
eventual engine swap out? (am i just barking up the wrong tree on this one or should
i just be happy with my 4 banger?)
Maybe some 32 or 33 inch tires? (offroad rady but they still have to work well on the pavement, again any suggestions?)

let me know what you think.... please? Any more suggestions?[addsig]

New Friend, please make it easier for us to help you.

Bounty suggested you ask 1 question per post.....

I count six.....

Too much to follow in one post...

Suggestion: Use descriptive titles and post
them seperately.

Example: "YJ engine swap" -- get's the attention
of those WITH specific Knowledge and those
WANTING more Knowledge.

1st post = What do I need to take my CJ/YJ/TJ
offroad............. let'em answer, but tell them what
you have! Buick?

2nd post = What do you think of a Rancho 3" lift and
a steering stabalizer for a 'buick'.? (they don't know
you have a YJ unless you tell them.

3rd post = Engine swap?

etc...

Not breaking you down, sincerely want you to
find the info you need,,, but there is a better
way to get BETTER HELP>>>

When posting Technical questions,
Be specific on model and what the ONE
problem/question is....

No way can we answer, in current format
and it be informative and easy to follow.

Please understand this will get you better
info, I am NOT picking on you, I am here
to help you.

I would go with the 4 inch w/ 33's. You are looking at some cash though. The Rancho 2.5 isn't bad though. The lift is about $500-$600. Then probably $1000 for nice wheels and tires for 32's.Thats probably under $2000 w/ install.[addsig]
