Internet sale of my Jeep

[rainman_voice]yeah, I'm gonna scam the scammer, definetly scam the scammer[/rainman_voice]
I wanna see if I can get a bonafied bogus check! I'll keep you posted.
-I told him that I had started putting together some of the extra pieces I had laying around: Fixed the cracked fender, new water fording safe exhaust, snorkle, 5pt. harnesses, bolt in cage, and new beadlock rims.... I wonder if he knows beadlock's aren't road legal?

I got caught in the same kinda of scam I was selling one of motocross bikes. We talk to the on phone and everything had the deal all worked out got the check from a real company out of Montreal.I went to the bank they told 5 days for it to clear, waited my time got the money paid what I was suposed to then the bank calls to tell me that the check didn't clear and they put a stop payment on the check so I got stuck owing 10g.After a year of fighting the bank had to pay it because they released it without it being clear.

So that is my story so just be very careful.

Paypal is no where near as good as your credit card. Paypal doesnt have the kind of back up and fraud resolution that credit card companies do. When ever I buy something big its always with a credit card because I can get my money back with them, my bank won't care where my money went if i get scammed, the credit card company does.

Sorry I just reread it, but yea, if your getting money by paypal, take it immediately in cold hard cash.

Yes sir! Paypal wouldn't do jack about my soft top scandal! I got ripped. I'll never do that again, except thru Ebay.

I was suggesting Paypal from a seller's standpoint. Like I said, once the $$$ is there, it's yours.

Paypal's buyer protection has gone south since eBay bought them out.
