Dead battery, Jeep quits, new alternator.

Yeah. Too true... Luckily I carry a jumpbox everywhere, it gives me decent enough charge to get home at least most times... And last year on the really snowy days I would just grab a cup of joe and head out pulling people from snowbanks and jumping cars for a pass time. You get a LOT of earnest thank yous that way. I just WISH I could afford a GOOD battery, let alone a SECOND battery. *sigh* DAMN TOYS ARE EXPENSIVE!

about a year ago i finally broke down and invested on a gel battery.deepcycle 750cca.. holds up pretty good.earlier this year i added another one and upgraded the alternator to a 130amp.havent had any issues since then.

I'll bet! One day, one day... I've got plenty on my plate already... Like making a hard top.

Likewise. someday i want to make a custom hardtop for the jeep, Finish my motorcycle rebuild, finish the 64 t-bird restoration, finish the 77 spyder interior. thats to name a few on my plate.Wheww.
