4wd will not work in lj 06 manual trans??

Well did some search's and did not come up with much? I went to put the jeep in 4wd today and nothing? I could slide it in to 4 hi but no engage, no light indicator on dash? It will not go into 4 lo at all? I do not do any off roading so the jeep does not see 4wd unless it is snowing which it was today!! Any thoughts here, could it be a low fluid issue or vac hose, or somethin else? I Know nothing so don't flame me too bad tks in advance with any help here folks!!!!

Do you have any kind of suspension lift, body lift... Has it worked before? DOes it feel like it engages in the shift lever?

Could be a linkage loosened or broke.

stock, yes it did work and it feels like it is goin in 4hi but can not budge it to 4lo? Looked under the skid at the transfer case (not that I know what I am lookin for) and nothin seems loose? Tks for reply JP!!

do you have to be in a certain gear to shift, like neutral? just wondering

no, should go on the fly in to 4wd which mine does not at all!!

If its not going in to 4hi the linkage needs to be adjusted or its inside the TC.or the rod is bent.
I take it you tryed it when your stoped and when your driveing.
