Wheel size???

How can I determine what size wheel I have on my Jeep. I need to buy another wheel for a spare and would like to match what I have. I know I have the Outlaw II wheels on there now with 31 X 10.5 X 15 tires on them. If anyone has one of these wheels for sale, I've got some money to throw your way...

It probably says what size it is, look hopefully on the backside of the wheel or you wight have to pull it apart and look on the inside. Most wheels say houw big they are somewhere on them. I'm going to guess that they are 15 by 7 or 8 inches wide with about a 3.5inch backspacing, but that is just a guess from the tire size and knowing what works well on the jeeps.

Hello ndnatty,

If I understand your question correctly, you need to determine the width of a wheel on which a tire is mounted.

If so, a tire dealer will usually have a gigantic outside caliper designed for the purpose of determining wheel width. The caliper is large enough to place the tips against both wheel flanges even with a tire mounted. Wheel width is read off the caliper scale.

I've got the AR Outlaw II's also. really like them.

anyways if you take the wheel off , or climb under and look behind it , there should be a serial number on the back of the rim, which if you read to any tire store, they can find out all the information you are looking for.

fyi my outlaw II's are 15x7
