We have a 81 CJ5, looking for advice on what type of oil to put in transmission and transfer case. The owners manual does not specify (at least I could not find it). The previous owner has ATF written in next to the transfer case. A friend of mine said that ATF is too light, put in some 80 or 90 weight. What do you think? Thanks in advance for any advice.
