Tire problems

RE: Body work

I rotate my tires every 3000 miles when I do an oil change.....I put a 2" lift with sway bar disconnects on and the left tire has uneven tire wear to where u can take your hand and rub it and feel as well as see the uneven wear, but the right tire has even wear, and when between 47-50 m.p.h, my steering wheel shakes, sometimes it gets really bad when I hit a bump in the road and it feels like the steering wheel is coming off...is it my alignment or just bad tires....could the lift with sway bars, be the reason, I am just starting the process of figuring out what the heck is going on with my rubicon. This just started after I had the sway bars put on and I only went off road a few times, nothing too serious....any suggestions.

It's the alignment. Any time you lift, even a couple inches, it throws off the steering geometry. An alignment should cure your problems.

You stated you rotate your tires.......is it always the left tire, or that tire no matter where it is?? Perhaps it's out of balance?? Or just a lemon?? Or maybe your shocks?? Several things'll cause that kind of wear.
