So, I told my friend Anne (who's caucasian) about the term "Booyah" and how TC informed us that it came from word "Booyakasha" which is Jamaican for "Kill Whitey."
Before that, she would constantly go around saying "Booyah" anytime something positive happened. For example: BOOYAH!!! I found 10 bucks on the side walk!
Anywhoo, she found that tidbit so amusing, and being the dry-witted gal she is, instead of NOT using the word booyah, she chose to replace it with the phrase it's translates to.
So know, at work all I hear all day is Kill Whitey coming from this very pretty blonde slavic-looking girl.
"Kill Whitey" I passed my test!
"Kill Whitey" I got a raise!
The Bronco's picked up Dre' Bly from the Lions "KILL WHITEY!"
She's pretty bold, and all of this is said in front of customers which draws the strangest but funniest looks I've ever seen.

So, here's a fun fact...
The song "It's all coming back to me now", made famous by Celine Dion in the mid '90s, was actually written by Jim Steinman back in 1983 (my birth year). It was intended to be part of Meat Loaf's Bat out of Hell II album, but that didn't happen. Meat Loaf ended up doing a recording of this song in 2006...
I learned this on one of the Rocky Horror Picture Show music sites... An interesting fact, who would have thought.

I wish. I had to go get another nerve root block in my neck this morning. Just now getting to where I can move my arm enough to type stuff. The nerve root block is a horribly painful ordeal that I go through about every 3-4 months, but the relief it will bring in the next few days lasts about 3 months, so it's worth it.
Oh, and I lost the bid on the Brady Bunch Lunch Box.
