haha, not so high here again yet. Mobile is up to 2.75 but some of the smaller stores are like 2.65. ITS A DAMN SCAM!

HOLY **** $6.68 a gallon!!! and $3.20 a gallon in Washington. Damn, I thought NY was bad, were only at $2.99 a gallon right now. Steadilly on the rise though(of course).

i think these damn polls people keep putting out about how high gas is going to get this year hurts us. People are saying $3.50 this summer. Well owners see these polls and are probably thinking that since we are expecting it, they should get as much money from us as possible. I don't think anyone should do the gas price polls.

ya the prices are getting preatty crazy i'm not sure how they're calculated in the states but up here in canda most of the price we pay isn't for the actual fuel but in taxes and the like so it's not the gas company thats gouging us so bad it's our own government. of course the prices we in northamerica are paying is still far less than in europe they've been paying 2 or more dollars a liter for years that would be around $9 per gallon OUCH!!!

Got some good surf this morning. About chest high breaks all day, good form, semi glassy, and loooooong right handers. It was a blast.

It's 1427 hours. Do you know where your Jeep is?

Why yes, I do! At the moment you posted this, I was just pulling out of the farm on my way home from a weekend of camping and fighting off ticks. Got at least 4 of the little buggers stuck on me over the weekend, but I haven't completed the final check yet. We had fabulous weather, temps in the upper 70's and lower 80's both Friday and Saturday, lows only in the upper 50's at night. Today was a bit cooler, and windy as a sunnybeach! Sustained winds of 35-40, with gusts up to 55 mph...mostly out of the south and west, the main directions I had to travel to get home. :x The poor ol' Jeep just couldn't keep up with it. I managed only 60mph on the downhill runs, and 50mph on the uphill climbs for 190 miles. My arms are killing me from fighting the steering wheel, and I'm almost deaf due to an exhaust malfunction. I had gotten about 3 miles out of town Friday morning on the way to the campout when the front driveshaft finally wore a hole through the exhaust downpipe. The exhaust was loose at the cat from when I took it off and cleaned it out, which let the downpipe rub against the front driveshaft. So, now there's a 2" by 1.5" hole that is dang near deafening!! Guess it's about time for a new exhaust.....high-flow, that is! :D

Sold the '05 LJ to Carmax today for $16,000. Bought an '06 Chevy Impala LT with 13K miles for $15,998. It is silver and is pretty loaded and has the factory remote start. I have owned my last Daimler Chrysler product. I'm not giving them a third strike (first was a Dodge car from '02, second was the LJ).

The car will better serve my needs from a DD. I guess I'll appreciate rides in the YJ just a little more now ;)
