Test drove a Gladiator

It was a while back. It was a 1968 brush truck that gets 8 miles to the gallon.

A little over 5 grand and this baby could be yours.

Dang, I thought you were talking about a new one, ha ha ha

I agree with prariepunk, that's a 715. I test drove a Gladiator many years ago on a used car lot ( prob about '88) and loved it. The only reason I didn't but it was the turning radius. I don't know if it was the one I was driving or they were all like that but you couldn't turn it in a 40acre field. At the time I spent more time offroad than on so it was a deal breaker.

The fire department that owned it welded on a sold roof and took off the canvass. In order to do that they had to turn the windshield up more. But I think your right. They also had a kaiser on lot but I didn't try it out.

The M-715 was the militarized gladiator according to the article this picture was attached to. Sort of like the Humvee is to the hummer (no I'm not calling your jeep a hummer)

A hummer would have a hard time gathering up enough nuts to follow the ruts left by a 715.
