Seems the solution according to them is a new steering stabilizer. :roll: I didn't know they were admitting that there was a problem on TJs. 69jeepcj New member Jun 6, 2012 #2 Agree^ My brother had two later model cherekees and both developed a bad shimmy. He ended up taking it to the dealer and it was the stabilizer on both jeeps. They replaced it and problem went away.
