Spring spacer lift...how much is too much?

Would it be ok to run a 1.75" and two .75" coil spacers on the front of a tj? Just untill I save some money for 6" springs.

I wouldn't recommend it, especially on a short-arm lift. Your control arms will be too vertical and it will create very poor handling onroad and off. Don't go over 4.5" combined spring/spacer height on a short-arm setup.

That's 7" if coupled with your 4" springs, way too much spring/spacer height.

I ended up using the 2" with the stock rubber isolator and everything looks good. It leveled it out nicely.

I've never seen anything over 4" without having long arms on there. No reputable company sells kits over 4" without a long arm set up or a control arm drop.
Two people said it was not a good idea because it is not. What was the point of asking if you had planned on doing it anyway?

i put a drop kit on my lower arms when i put 5" on my cherokee because i couldn't afford long arms

And I asked because I wanted other opinions...in the end I listened and didn't stack the 3/4 spacers.
