1 1980CJ-7 New member Mar 28, 2011 #1 I just recently purchased Rancho Rs5000 I didn't realize that the ones for the 1980 cj 7 aren't gas charged. So they just collapse jn and out when pressed in they stay...has anyone used these shocks? How well did they work?

M mcmud New member Mar 28, 2011 #4 Shocks absorb shock, nothing else, aside from limiting travel. Depress them or extend them they retain that position until drawn to the next. Rancho 5000's are OK.
