Professional installation budget boost

I'm thinking about getting a 2.5" budget boost lift kit and I'm not very good at installing these kinds of parts. I was wondering if anyone out there has had this installed professionally and how much it cost them.

what makes you say your not good at installing them?

my buddy owns a 4x4 shop. i can get you a shop price, if thats what you're looking for?

what year and when you say budget lift, do you mean just those spacers that go above the springs?

ok. its super duper easy to do yourself but i'll find out what the shop rate is. it should be decently close to where you are as most 4x4 shops probably have basically the same hourly rate and the manufacturer gives the times for the jobs

i do those kinds of lifts for my friends all the time though. a jack, jack stands, and common hand tools and your good to go. it is really almost the easiest thing you can do. if you can change your brakes, you can do this lift.

once we get the price, we'll go over the instructions for doing the lift so you can consider doing it yourself, if you want.

From what I've seen in the past , you"re looking at $300- $400 to have a shop install them.
All you need is a floor jack & 2 jack stands ( 6 ton for the hight ), & unbolt the track bar from the axle.

shop labor is anywhere from $80-130 per hour. all data specks out spring and shock replacement at 4 hours. so as a minimum you will be charged $320-500 just for labor... so the labor will be about 2x what the kit costs (depending on teh kit)

or

you could spend $50 for a craftsman mechanics tool kit and $40 for two jack stands and put it in yourself. if your doing a full spring budget kit, you will only have to take the tires off, knock off the bump stops, sway bar links shocks and you can pry the springs in and out. can usually get it done in about 2 hours taking my time and drinking beer.

Thanks for the info guys. When I order it I will look into doing it myself. Gotta learn somehow

And I will have you the hard numbers from my buddy's shop by lunch. They aren't open yet

Where are you located at, Maybe there is someone on here close to you and they can help.
