New winch - and this one actually works ;)

After a lifetime of BS with Qtec returning the DOA winch I bought as a scratch-and-dent special (although assured it worked), they came through and sent my new one out. I paid a bit more to upgrade to the Ramsey Patriot 8000. Installed it tonight.

I will say... I have had problems with Quadratec, but they always make it right in the end. They took back an "as-is" "no returns, no refunds" piece that I bought from their tent at a Jeep show with no questions asked. Maybe because I have been dealing with them for a long time but I was impressed they gave me a full credit towards the one I have now, and even discounted the Ramsey too.
