After a less than ideal experience in the woods last week, I think I need to invest in a minor upgrade for my Jeep. I'm looking at a locker for the front axle, but I like to know how things work before I put them on. Taking an Aussie locker for an example, how do they work? In 2wd, is it totally disconnected so there is no additional drag on the Jeep? I'm not looking for brand recommendations right now. Just wanting to know how things operate.
