I have heard that a dropped pitman arm will make bump steer worse verses a stock pitman arm is this true. What are some opinions about that? thanks AJ[addsig]

actually... whichever pitman arm will make your draglink rise at the closer angle to the tracbar will be the best choice... if the link and bar are not in sync, then when the axle moves up or down... the tracbar will move it slightly left or right, pulling your steering components to and from your pitman arm causing bump steer... if the drag link and trac bar are in sync... they move in sync[addsig]

so I want my trac bar and drag link at about the same angle. I aslo am getting a real bad shacking coming from the front end. Would that come from not having the right angles on that also? Thanks AJ :-? [addsig]

if they are not at the right same angles... then every bump coud lead to wandering

I just looked at the jeep and both the trac bar and drag link are almost at the same angles. But I still have a bad shacking problem while driving. You wouldn't now where to send me for that or know anything about that would you? It's really bad at times. I was thinhking maybe to take it to any alignment shop? [addsig]

I have the teraflex adjustable front trac bar maybe do I need to adjust that one way or the other? :-? :-? [addsig]

i wouldn't think that shaking would be from that problem... only bump steer. shaking can be a bad joint, bad wheel bearings, bad suspension, get it up in the air, and see what you can shake with your hands[addsig]
