Dana 44 axle truss

Hey forum. Any one know where I can find an axle truss for a Dana 44 from a cj. The only ones I can find seem to be for later models with coil springs. Thanks

Thanks, but those are more for building a link type suspension. I'm looking for one that will span the length of the axle. I'm using leaf springs in a spring under configuration. Thanks again. 808

the point of the truss is to prevent tube deflection, uultimately snapping a shaft. all those truss will achieve that.

I know what your describing and no, you will not find one for a D44 aftermarket. you could easily make on. I know they used to make one for the D35 and you could try to find it and retro fit it. I think it was made by warrior products.

Honestly, as long as the truss connects the two axle tubes and ties into the diff somehow, regardless of the design, the truss is doing it's job.
