Body lift hardware question

I'm installing a 1 inch Daystar kit on my YJ and trying to figure out a few things. I built the Jeep from about 5 other jeeps, and don't really have any of my old body mounts around anymore. With the daystar kit you're supposed to reuse what they call the "stock steel insert". When I bought it it said it came with everything new so you didn't have to reuse anything(good since I don't know where any of the old stuff went). Do I need to get these through an auto parts store? Any other ideas? Really want to get this body bolted on so I can finish her up.

I installed the Daystar 1 inch body lift on my old Jeep. Many of the old rubber body mounts were rotted. I did not reuse any of the old stuff. The body lift came with everything needed to replace the old mounts.

I hope this works, I'm pasting a link to pdf of the installation instructions. In pictures A and B it shows the guy removing the "stock steel insert" from the original body mounts and inserting it into the new mount. I went through any old mounts I could find and there was nothing there that I would even consider reusing. Here is the PDF http://daystarweb.com/attachments/instructions/kj/p10432.pdf

If this link doesn't work I'll try again.

I bought the same thing, but for a YJ. It was the 1 inch daystar kit that is supposed to have everything needed. I bought part number KJ04505. It looks like what you posted a link to, but for a YJ not a TJ. It was around $150 also.

I talked to a guy at work (a non jeeper) who said that the sleeve is there to prevent you from crushing the mount when you torque it down.

It appears that that diameter isn't the important part, but the length is, so if you end up making your own, make sure they are the same size as the stock ones.
