i added a ram intake to my 4cyl 2.5l and have to say i really like it. i can feal a deff increase in power and gas mileage and if nothing else, i like the way it sounds. The next step is to attack the exust. can i gain enough increase just by adding a new muffler, or do i need to look into a cat-back system and if so, what does that intale? ive noticed them for something in the $150+ range and i just want to know what i get for that, and if i can do better that that. what do u guys got for me?

Get a cat back, the stock exhaust tube has restrictive kinks in it.

Got mine from www.rustysoffroad.com with a Flowmaster 50 DeltaFlow for around $150. Sounds good with the 2.5L engine, really compliments the opened up intake.

Have you considered a 4.0L throttle body and spacer?[addsig]

ok i got the 4.0L and i just put in the new gibson exhaust and home made airflow. its given me alot of power increase. i can even use my 5th gear now. ha ha. next thing i am doing is making a custom ram air type deal. all about the power.
