4.2 w/4.0 head conversion

gave up on the fuel pump wiring problem for a bit and moved on to the starter. I have rebuilt the 4.2 block .30 over (kinda had to) and did the 4.0 head with fuel injection on my 1989 wrangler. will I need to upgrade to the high torque starter? I am finding my original starter does not seem to have the umph. I have tried the doner 1994 starter as well as my 1989 starter, both do the same, has any one else ran across this?

You might want to try out the gear reduction high torque starters from Mean Green. I've seen those work well on high compression engines but pricey.
