4.0 or 4.2 rocker arms?

Does anybody know if one is supposed to use 4.2 or 4.0 rocker arms for the 4.0 head swap? My dog ran off with one of the 4.2 rocker arms and I think buried it, lol. Thanks a lot guys, have a good one.

I did quite a bit of looking around on that subject before I put it back together and found conflicting information about push rod length and which version to go with. From what I remember, the rockers either didn't matter, or 4.2 was the way to go. I used the 4.2 push rods and rockers and its running fine.

There is another thread here about EFI 4.0 vs aftermarket EFI for 4.2...If you did the 4.0 head swap on the 4.2, then couldn't you install the 4.0's fuel injection, intake and all?

You have to buy a setup to put the CPS on the harmonic balancer.
