12 volt conversition

i recently converted my "51" willys pickup to 12 volt and and without thinking i removed all the wiring from the charging system and some from the ing. system , now i have the problem of no power to the ing. switch . i was told i needed to run wires form the old voltage regulato to the switch but i didnt . im not good at electrical problems , as you can see i need some help i hope some one with the know how will be kind enought to give it. :?| :?|

What Type of Alternator did you install? 1 ,3,4 wire ? if you could take a pic. of the Alternator connector it will help identify where what goes.

I Think everything needs a look at by licenced jeep mechanic to ensure correct electrical conversions are suitable from the ignition,voltage, regulator, startermotor,battery, fuses, and or fuseable links Proper grounding as well as the distributer firing order and timing. I know that sounds like a lot of stuff so be safe out there
