I know I ask allot of questions, but this is new to me. I went to check my oil yesterday and it had little tiny bubbles in it...seemed wierd. What could that mean? I am using 10w30 Valvoline High Mileage if that makes a difference

I used to have a '94 GCL that acted like that and eventually would stall. Mine was the o2 sensor and the map sensor if I remember correctly. Replace the o2 and see if that helps. Need to replace them every 85k anyway.

I would invest in either a Haynes or Chilton's Manual. Both explain how to do almost anything. A must for any Jeeper. You find them at any parts store. http://www.partsamerica.com/Books.aspx

This motor is fighting for it's life and I don't have the cash to do a complete overhaul right now.

Update: I disconnected the line from the valve cover to the airbox for experiment. Makes a huge difference. No hesitation and more response. My jeep wasn't putting allot of oil in the box just a bunch of smoke. I do have a K&N so that is no problem, but I think I am going to connect that hose to...

The FI system was updated to MPI in '91 (almost certain) and I think they started putting the full cage (sport) roll bars in '92. Some of us jeepers have to deal with the dreaded TBI fuel injection which only appreared for a small time. Stay away from it, It makes it hard to upgrade. I had a '95...

There was a recall on the YJ in 2002 for the parking brake assembly. The dealer will replace the entire assembly for free if you haven't already had it done. There was also a recall on the front rotors in '98. They should take care of that as well. I had my recalls performed on my '90, however...

I don't think my model has a CCV. I looked for it, and I cannot find. My manual only says that some later model Yj's have one. Is that right?? This is a 90 with the TBI. Define blowby. How is it resolved?
