Hi
I want to remove my old factory bumper and put on a new factory bumper (other one was hit) I have the part...does anyone know if this is an easy task? Has anyone done it before and have any tips?
I have a '97. Thanks:):purple:

thanks for the reply. I am just needing to get this bumper on then I am selling it...I just put tons of money into the mechanics, I don't really want to spend any more $$ on this car... it looks like a few bolts, and was wondering if I could just throw it on myself.

Yeah, it's really pretty simple, I doubt you'll have any problems. I wouldn't wasted money on a Haynes manual, and probably wouldn't on a Chilton, either. They won't show you how to do any body work, just mechanical and electrical, and even then the instructions aren't the best.

It should just unbolt and the new one should bolt back on using the factory holes.

start spraying those bolts with PB Blaster or WD40 a day or so before you try takin those bolts out!

thanks everybody...heehee, yeah I've been spraying WD40 like it's nobodys business... :)
I tried unscrewing them, and damn, they're tight...I will keep spraying, otherwise the autobody says it won't take more than an hour @ $36... not too bad.
Thanks again :)
