i am recently having troubles with my 95 gcl it drives down the road surging spitting and acting like its got water in the gas or not getting gas i have recently replaced the CPS from a prior problem and check engine light my codes say the o2 sensor. the fuel pump is fine ect so i know its not a fuel problem can the o2 sensor cause that much heck? plz help :?

I used to have a '94 GCL that acted like that and eventually would stall. Mine was the o2 sensor and the map sensor if I remember correctly. Replace the o2 and see if that helps. Need to replace them every 85k anyway.

thanks growler also i might add my check engine light WAS coming on for the o2 sensor and now its not and ever since it hasnt been coming on anymore its been acting up what are the symtoms of a bad o2 sensor ?? if i took it off what would it do ? i heard it wasnt easy to remove

yeah with an 02 sensor prob, the engine will seem like its running too lean...i know when i had that problem it was seeming like the engine would sputter before i shifted, like the engine couldnt keep up...
