    PCV Valve

They are correct, there is no PCV valve. There is a CCV elbow that is just an orifice; no valve action. Just keep the orifice unblocked. I'd recommend not pulling it out every oil change either. They are in there very tight and break easily and by the way, replacements are dealer-only.

    1980 cj7 tub wanted

You would probably be better off getting a YJ tub. Ebay is a great place to look.

    A/C clutch pulley?

You should be able to replace just the clutch. I think its a dealer-only part. If you are getting a nasty squeal like I was on my 00, you might be able to fix it fairly easily. I was reading about the gap spec between clutch and pulley and the factory sets it with shims (washers). I took the...

jeep wont start in cold maybe??

I had the same thing happen on my 00 XJ back in the winter of 00/01. Didn't have much fuel in the tank, really cold. It would start and die. Start and hold the gas and it would idle at higher RPM, but take your foot off the gas and it would die. I barely knew how to change my oil at the...

    Oil Pressure Fluctuating

Switches that go with lights are on/off... Yes there is a minimum pressure or no there is not. That cycles the mated light, thus the term "switch." Switches that go with a guage aren't really switches. They have a variable output that gives the gauge its reading. My sender went bad on my XJ...

    2100 Carb Question

I don't have a junk yard around me. I wish I did for this and several other projects. That said, I know people have done this leg work already... Anybody care to chime in?

    2100 Carb Question

Yes, you can put a manual choke on. Many do from what I have read.

    2100 Carb Question

Ok, so I hate to post yet another 2100 thread, but oh well... I am probably going to put the 2100/2150 on my 258 this winter. I don't want to pay that ebay guy 300 bucks, so I'm going to get either a junkyard, ebay, or a parts store carb. I have done several web searches and read all about...

    Tailgate

People put CJ tailgates on YJ tubs all the time when they do a tub swap. Check out some tub swap write ups for good details.

    Offroading with airbags

I don't think they go off below 25 or 30 mph, but I don't know that for certain.

    What's with men and flatulence?

I like to do drive-bys at work... Silently sneak by somebody's cube and let 'er go. Slip away before they know you were there. Hilarious!

Global warming... climate change... whatever :)

I agree with you that true or not, it pushes us in a cleaner direction, which appears to be good. I just hope that "the powers that be" are looking at the whole system when they define getting cleaner, not just what comes out of the tailpipe. For example, sure, they use less oil and emit less...

Motor Mounts bad, engine slid back

I have never seen that personally, but its not too tough to replace motor mounts. Unbolt and lift the engine up just enough to get the new mounts in there.

Try ebay for a YJ tub.

    Hoping someone can help ASAP!!!!!!

Sounds like the transfer case is not allowing the front and rear driveshafts to turn at different rates. There's a differential, clutch, viscous coupling, or something or other in there that allows it to be a full time 4wd rather than a part time. Sounds like its behaving like part time...

    Wagoneer Starting Problem

I had some real weird stuff happening when that cable went bad. Sometimes it would have good enough contact to work fine. It never shut off when running. But sometimes the contact would be so bad my clock would stop. I couldn't figure out why my clock kept losing time. Other times there...

    Wagoneer Starting Problem

I had that happen one time and it turned out the neg battery terminal clamp had a hairline crack in it and it wasn't making good ground. (Tightening the fitting only opened the crack up)
