What is the best way to keep the zippers on a Bestop working smooth? Also, what cleaning products should I be using? Thanks for the help-new top and no experience with one

For the zippers, you can use the wax from a candle stick. run it a couple times on the zipper once in a while and it will stay smooth. Stay away from abrasive cleaners for the soft top. I use water and soap only. I don't treat mine with anything and it seems to have lasted longer than my convertible top on my spyder.

I'm sure that would be fine since they manufacture the Jeep soft tops for Chrysler. So even the Mopar brand Soft top cleaner/ conditioner would be close to if not the same contents.

2X on the soap and water. I wouldn't put anything on them unless you have an issue. If you do first clean them and pinch the back of the zipper pull lightly on both sides with pliers. The issue I has was the same you have with every zipper.

i used teflon on the zippers and it seemed to work really well as well but i like steelheadz idea about the candle wax i think that would b safer on the soft top.
