YJ Shackle lift problems!!!!!!!!!

I haven't noticed any steering problems. It actually staightened the steering wheel?
Where do the shims go and how do they work or what do they do?

the shackles rotate the pinion upward. this adds too much caster to your steering which makes the front end a little squirrelly. You can place shims between the axle and the springs which will straighten it out.

If you were to go through all that, why not just do AAL's instead of shackles - no loss of approach angle either

Just a thought

it WOULD be a better idea for the AAL.. but... shackles and shims are cheaper, usually.. unless you go budget AAL like i did... 15 bucks

though you still do lose the departure angle with the shackles
