yj rear track bar

im putting on a 3" suspension lift soon on my 94 yj and i was wondering what effect leaving off the rear track bar would have, would it have too much body roll, be real unstable, have more flex, etc

ditch that track bar....or you can put on the crappy drop brackets they give you with the lift kit..

Question about body lift

would it be a pain in the ass to install it back after the lift if i dont like not having it

No it wouldn't. Removing it is tough, but installing it is a matter of 2 bolts. A 15 min job. You wont want to though. Remove it, you wont go back

haha right on, i think i might get disconnects for it or just find a quick way to take it off on the trail real quick

nah... forget the disconnects.... i think when jeep was building YJ's, they must have had a surplus of metal around and decided to add a tracbar... i think its REAL purpose is to weigh the rear end down for traction

You won't notice any difference onroad without the rear trackbar. If you do it'll be very minimal. Most run without it.

Keep the front trackbar.

1st mod to any YJ should be to remove it and throw it in t scrap metal pile. With the price of scrap steel it will be worth it just for that alone. tug
