yj/jk body conversion

does anyone know if the body of a jk can be transferred onto a yj frame and if it's not..what is the old wrangler frame i can use to transfer the body of jk on it?

JK is wider than a YJ or CJ but with some mods could be made to work.

Just asking, but is it because you would like to see a JK with leaf springs?

Anything is possible with some inginuity and money. I've put CJ tubs on TJ frames, but as mentioned, the body dimensions are very similar, the JK if significantly wider so it might look a little wierd. as for wheel base, I do nto know what the differences are.

I would just go but some 2x4 stock and start from scratch if you happen to have an extra JK body laying around.
