My buddy got a 87 yj with a 6cly and it and the carb is giving us some problems . The choke line has melted off and needs to be replaced and i think that should get it going ,l have never worked on a carb in any jeep need help thanks.
I just did the motorcraft swap on my YJ, and it proved to be cost effective(100$). The swap requires time but at the end its worth it, Plus the carter is crap.
