Yellow Top Optima

I've got a chance to get a Optima yellow top from a friend for cheap.
Any problem using this in a Wrangler with no excessive power requirements?
It's a group 34 and looks like it will fit right in.

I'm using a Red top in my Dodge van but don't have any experience with the yellow top batteries.

It will work fine, it's a combination starting/deep cycle battery.

no problems. I run 2 in mine for over 8 yrs w/o a issue.

Are they designed for a vehicle that sits for long periods of time or has lots of accessories? Is that what deep cycle means - sort of?
Crankin' amps seem to be not to far off of stock?

Deep cycle is the batteries ability to be nearly fully drained and recharged without degradation, which would kill a standard battery. The Optimas also work well for vehicles in storage.
