Will a 82 CJ hardtop fit a 79 CJ?? ive got a chance to buy one for $200 or less.. All it needs are the clamps.. Is the clamps hard to get or fix? I need help quick. I dont wanna miss out on a good deal.. thanks in advance Mike

It should fit if your talking about a CJ7 to CJ7...I don't know about buying clamps,but I would think they could be made pretty easily if need be.

Is it for a CJ5 or a CJ7? If it is for a 5 I will buy it if you decide not to. Where is it?

actually i had to email the guy again to ask if it was from a 5 or a 7. Hopefully it will be a 5 haha. Ill probably buy it anyway regardless.. but ill let ya know Shinny

Yes it will fit as long as it's from the same body style like yours. The CJ tub should already have the holes that would line up to the hardtop holes, so all you'll need is at least 4 nuts and bolts and washers.

If you think about it, i'm looking for a rear window frame for my CJ7 hardtop. i dont need the glass, just the frame.
