I took my new toy (2000 TJ) up a small trail and was just feeling things out. It was its maiden voyage since I bought it. I spotted a hill about 15 ft high and about a 75 ft slope. I approach the bottom and my 11 year old son starts screaming and crying. Before I could back away good he had already called his grandma to tattletale on me lol. Needless to say, that trip was cut short. Ok a positive note, the jeep totally had that hill...

Uh ohh........He already broke the what happens in the jeep, stays in the jeep rule!
Once he see's how much fun it is he will start to love it.

My son started off like that to in the beginning. Now he loves it.

I would have pushed him out and left him there to watch me wheel. Then when I have had my fun, let him in and he can sulk about what he missed.

I took my nephew off road with the mountainside on one side and a drop off on the other side of the jeep. He is 10 and buried his face in his hands until we were back on pavement. I swear kids these days don't know a good thing when they see it.

I think he'll come around in time. He does like slinging mud. He's a wild man on his 4wheeler, I figured he'd be eating it up.
