Under heating?

I'm having an issue with my jeep not reaching normal operating temperature. I have replaced my thermostat twice, replace the coolant temp sensor, o2 sensor and I can only achieve normal temp with sitting at idle. Any suggestions? I have a 195 thermostat and it does work.

Ben, what type / year of Jeep do you have?

Does your heat blow out hot?

Do you have the stock radiator, or a replacement?

hi,

It sounds like a bad thermostat but check the fan too, maybe it works all the time?
Second thought, check the gauge itself, maybe the problem is in the sending unit or the gauge?
Saar.

I have the same issue with my 2001 Jeep Cherokee.

The radiator is brand new. The thermostat is brand new.

When I accelerate the thermostat gauge drops from 195 to about 130/140. Then when I come to a complete stop it goes back up to normal.

Any suggestions on what the problem could be anyone? waterpump?

Think I found a solution. When I replaced my thermostat last week I did run the heat with the radiator cap off for 5 minutes, but I didn't run the a.c.

I decided to run both again and a lot of air bubbles came out (along with almost a gallon of coolent).

Anyways, I left the car cool off for an hour and fulled the radiator back up to max. Put the cap back on and the car ran normally in the 185/205 range.
