The last time I went out I ended up breaking 3 of the u-bolt ends off and bending most of the rest of them. On top of getting stuck on the bolts a good 4 or 5 times. My expensive RE lift is only like 2 years old so I'm not going to replace it with a sprung over at this time and was looking into options to protect my ubolts. One company sells a skid that goes on the bottom of the bolts but I imagine that would put those points even lower on the one part of the jeep I keep hanging up on. Has anybody installed a flip kit and what are your opinions about them?
P.S.- Something like this, although I don't like this design. Seems like it doesn't hold the axle tight enough for me to be comfortable daily driving my jeep and the front won't fit with the vacuum disconnect. On top of being $153 for 4 bolts and 4 plates per axle.
