Turn signals

I have a 98 xj and when I turn my left turn signal on both of them flash in the back. I'm pretty sure it's a ground issue. Any ideas of what else it could be or where to start looking?

The first place I would look would be looking for corrosion in the sockets....pretty easy check. I'm not familiar with XJ's, but that would be a good, easy start.
