I agree with Bounty. I'm not that mechanically inclined, but tore mine down, diagnosed it, and repaired it with no problem. All mine needed were some neoprene sleeves on the shift fork. While in it, I replaced the bearings and checked gears and the chain. Putting it back together, I realized the previous owner had put the oil pump mechanism in wrong. Probably why he sold it cheap. All together I put a little less than $100 in parts in it. Would have been less since the bearings didn't look bad. I replaced them anyway.
