Tires

I have a 04 rubicon with a four inch lift and stock tires/wheels.
It is my intention to upgrade and upsize my tires and wheels. I wanted to go with 35x12.50 but a friend said that was too much tire for this jeep.
Any experienced based comments are appreciated.

I have ran 35s on an 01 with 4 inches of lift for over 10 years. You will get a slight bit of rubbing on your upper fender flairs front and back if your flexing out your suspension. Nothing bad. An adjustable bump stop will keep this from happening.
