tires on a 2008 JK

Does anyone know if 33" tires on 20" rims can be put on the wrangler unlimited 4 door 4x4?
If so what must be done to continue to use it on/off road. Oddly enough Jeep will not comment even though if you bought one you had a choice of 17,18 and 20" rims/tires. The service dept says to contact Goodyear.
I am told also that only jeep can align/balance 20" tires, but they will not tell me what size is OK.
Any ideas?

Chrysler has certain Equipment requirements thats approved by Pentastar equipment. 20" wheels are the largest diameter wheels that Chrysler , Jeep and Dodge offers as an optional package.. Likewise on the Alignment Equipment which is most likely From Hunter Engineering.

and wrong about the 20 steelheadz... srt10 ram and the viper both have 22's YO!

Yup , you are correct on that. rarely dealt with it...i'll keep my hands on the Jeep stuff.
