Tire psi

Hello every one! Does any one know what's the correct tire psi for 255/75R17 (32" JK wheels) on at TJ? I have 31lbs on the front and 33lbs on rear as mechanic recommended but when I drive on the highway above 50 I feel the tires kick back the steering wheel and it either pulls to the right or left as I'm driving!

It should say on the sidewall of the tire depending in your load range probly around 30. When's the last time had an anliginment?

I checked it says max 44 only. I did my alignment last week for the second time in one month! I just dropped the psi to 28 and test drove it on the highway for a short run and it seemed normal. Maybe I have to go bigger on the damper since I have bigger tires?

Do a chalk test to be sure you have the correct pressure. Most are 25 to 30 psi. Too much and you'll have issues with handling and shimmy on the highway.

With a proper setup you do not need a steering stabilizer, so no. You don't need a bigger stabilizer.

Do a dry steering test and look at the TRE s and the track bar both ends. Also check you u joints and for caked mud in the wheels.
How are your shocks?

Thanks,I will def do that! Shocks are about one month old replaced them after I got 2" lift. I have replaced everything in the front end except control arm bushing but I had them checked and they were ok. It's all coming down to the tires I guess. I have 2" wheel spacer bet the hub/wheel would that effect it?

As you mention reducing pressure makes it go away. When you aligned it did you speed or road balance the tires? This would catch mud or bent rim issues.

I did the chalk test and its 25lbs. Test drove and it's running fine but I started having a different problem now. My tj is a 2.4 manual and when I accelerate on 2nd or 3rd gear it kicks multiple times and it goes away and that happens on low speed :/ also since I put those big tires I can barely make it above 60mph! Is that normal?

No that's not normal. And check your CAT (s) to see they are not blocked.
Is it throwing any codes.

Then basic tune up items.

when its very cold check engine goes on then off when its warmed up. engine sounds a lil different lately.

With the engine off turn the key to on, then off ,on then off then on within 5 seconds. Your error code(s) will display in the odometer. Post them up when you get them.

It should be P0xxx the x's are numbers. There mar be several. The last will be done.

What year TJ?

99 and over should work. 97 thru 99 you need a coda reader you could borrow from az or Oreilly's.

When u said on you meant start the car or just ignition?

Turn ign to on but do not start the engine each time for three times. Too slow or too fast will not work.

P0141 (M) 1/2 O2 Sensor Heater Failure Oxygen sensor heater element malfunction.

O2sensor near the front of the vehicle below the mini CAT.

Four possibilities.
Wires to the O2 sensor are damaged or unplugged.
Wrong o2 sensor
Cat going bad- covered up to 100k miles
Bad o2 sensor. - only by oem as aftermarket have issues.

I see. I guess I'll start with o2 sensor tmrw then take it from there but I'm sure it's the CC my tj has almost 200k
