will a 231c hd T case fit on a t400 trans I have a 241c i was going to use but was told a 231c hd would be a better because of the clocking of the 241c would give us less clearance. Thanks

Double-check but I think the clocking would be the same between the 231c and the 241c. The 241c will handle a lot more torque unless you build up the 231c with a wide chain kit and 6-gear planetary.

They should have the same mounting pattern, would want to check for similar input shaft dimensions.

ok will check some more maybe I was missed informed any way is the sline diffrent? from what i was told the 231c HD has the wide chain and 6 planetery gears.
