t-case drop

Does anybody know how far you can drop the t-case? I don't have a lot of money so I'm doing it myself. Is the only thing you have to watch for is the back of the motor and the firewall?

That's the main point to watch for interference, you also have to watch the transmission and transfer case shifters to make sure they still engage and aren't too short. I dropped our XJ tcase about .5", don't know what the limits are though.

Hi,

You also have to make sure the mechanical fan doesn't whack into the radiator. The clearance between the fan and radiator fins in my Cherokee was pretty tight, so be careful of that (not sure if it'll be an issue or not)
