Can anyone tell me where the steering stops are or what they look like? I put 31's on my TJ and they rub when I turn the wheel all the way to either side. I looked looked but did not see anything to adjust. Also, what is the procedure for making this adjustment.

Thanks people!!!

You have the wrong offset rims for 31's if they rub when you turn...

there should be a bolt sticking out about a 1\4 inch on the knuckle or in that area....it is a 1/2 bolt i beleive just back it out until you get the desired stoppage

my tires rub when i turn too... stock wheels... i'm gonna have to switch

Look behind the wheel below the brake caliper, you'll see a bolt sticking out with a nut tack-welded to it. Back it out and put a washer underneath on each side until you get the desired effect. Not as good as having the proper backspacing as you'll lose steering radius.

the best way to see how many washers you'll need beforehand, is to turn the steering wheel to JUST before the tire hits the springs... then look at the distance from the bolt to the stopper... figure how many washers it would take to make up that distance.. there you have it
