Starter problems!!

I've got a 1988 Wrangler and i'm trying to replace the starter. The old one had two threaded studs on it for the battery wire etc. The new one had the the place where the studs should go, but didn't come with them. What are you supposed to do???

Use the old studs.

How do you get them out. They spin, but don't seem to thread out like a normal bolt would.

are these the studs in the soilnoid? if so you should inquier about why that starter didnt come with any. any starter(complete) i have ever bought had new studs, washers and bolts with em.
