Simple Brake question

HI .
I was wonderin the brake pads have on one end 2 tabs on the other side it has 1 which one goes on the top and the bottom ?? seem to me the double side goes on the bottom and the one sits on the top.
PLEASE HELP going to se what the side i just put on looks like. i have never seem brake pads that are for 1 side or the other but who knows.

Did you pull the pads off of both sides yet? If not check out how they are installed then reinstalled the same way. Also, some pads have a coating on them now for some reason, don't know why, but you need to clean the coating off before you stick the new pads in or you will glaze up you rotors in short order; use brake cleaner.
